Hi,
i want to create a form , but i have a variable number of fields , depending on the database. Therefore, i don't think that i can use the xml definition as it is fixed.

How can i create my form without xml? For example, the form could be 10 checkboxes, or 15, or 20,....
So i think i can only build the form from php , not from a fixed definition.

Can i use jform?
I saw getInstance, but it also loads a predefined layout i think...

any help highly appreciated.... i'm really stuck...

You can create a form that uses the old fashion way without JForm and or XML. Then it's just the form like you did it in Joomla 1.5
