After saving order of list items back to the first page

Hello guys,

I've finished a Joomla 2.5 component, where I list hundreds of wine articles. To categorize these articles I‘ve created a category section where I've created about a hundred regions as categories and subcategories. The problem is: If I want to reorder the categories and subvcategories and I'm on – let’s say – page 5 I get a message that the order has been saved but I start at the beginning of the list. This happens if I use the orderdown and orderup Key as well as the input fields to fill in numbers and change the order manually. In all cases the order is saved like i wanted it to be and I get the 'saved message' but the component doesn‘t keep track of the page I was on. Any idea?
