User group permission.

User group permission.

I am trying to add a user group setting to give the user group permissions to add / edit an article to a specific Category.

I have User u1
I have User Group g1
I have Category c1

u1 is in g1.

When u1 is logged in , he/she should only have permission to add/edit article to Category c1.

Is that possible?

You need to set global permissions also. Check the Joomla Wiki for information about ACL. And, YES, that is doable.
