Is that possible to do this with ACL in joomla 1.6? And if yes, how?

I want an article and its link only shown to non-logged in users, and when users log-in to site, they can not see that link and its content.

If it is not possible to do this by default is that possible by a custom module?

Regards
Mazdak

Review of the document http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_hide_something_from_logged_in_users%3F could be of help.

Try to make Registered group as the parent of Guest group.

This may help, go to Viewing Access Levels and click Guest. Here, only Guest should be checked off. The others left unchecked.
Now back and click Registered. Here, Guest and Public should be unchecked.
Also, in User Groups, you don't need to have Registered group as the parent of Guest group.
Don't use your SuperAdmin account for testing this. It may not not show you the true results.

Thank you login418 for your solution.
The documentation work but if you are logged in as a super administrator you will not see the correct results. This was the only problem.

You must check the front page on another browser, where you are not logged in at all.

Raluca.
