Is there a method to easily create a superuser subset

I want to create a user that has all the capabilities of a superuser but exclude them from accessing one particular component on the system. I realize that by being a superuser, they could give themselves the excluded capability but it's still the prefered scenario.

Is there a way to create an user equivalent to a superuser subset group without creating a group and manually changing the privileges of all the components on the system to give them access to them?

No, make the new group take its privileges from Super User, then exclude them from the one component.

Of course. Edit Super User. Save as New and then remove the one privilege. I'm assuming that's what you mean.

No, make a NEW group, Use Super Users as Parent. Go to the item you wish to exclude the new group from, and "dissallow" its inherited permission.

Right. That way all of the Super User privileges automatically carry over to the new group.
