Using firebug, which I have now (very nice!) I found the line to replace my header. I made a new header and put it in the templates/images folder then I replaced the fruits.jpg in the html with my own. Bingo, my banner then appeared. I thought all was well until I closed firebug and my cyberduck (mac ftp) and refreshed my site. Poof went my banner! :( I then re-open firebug, right-click where the banner should be (it became simply a grey line w/ the text logo)v and I see this attach. How can fix that? I don't know what code I need to put in there?!

Update: I realized fruits.jpg had gone missing from the images folder, so I replaced it and voila, it came back. Once again I replace the fruits.jpg in the html with my own jpg and see my banner appear. After refreshing the site though, back comes the fruits. There must be another line to replace as well. Where is that?

Update Again: Never-mind. I renamed the original fruits.jpg to fruits1.jpg, then renamed myown.jpg to fruits.jpg.. after a refresh, it all works. . :)

yes, your last update is the easiest method for changing updating banners and images within a template.

by the way seeing your using a mac have you enabled the 'Develop' menu within Safari, it has the same features, plus more :)

try 'filefilla' for ftp program on mac, it has a nice little 'failed transfers' tab feature.

I use firefox,not safari. And :"filfilla"? I couldn't find that?!!? Do you mean filezilla.
