Hi guys,

I just had two questions.

Question 1.
I want to make a link in my menu that goes to the "home page". Currently there is in Beez5 no link in the menu for home page. In the breadcrumb I am also not able to click on the word "home" to go to the home page.

Question 2.
on the same homepage I can see there are links and text in there such as

"Upgraders

If you are an experienced Joomla! 1.5 user, this Joomla! site will seem very familiar. There are new templates and improved user interfaces, but most functionality is the same. The biggest changes are improved access control (ACL) and nested categories. This release of Joomla! has strong continuity with Joomla! 1.6 while adding enhancements.

Joomla! 1.7 continues development of the Joomla Framework and CMS as a powerful and flexible way to bring your vision of the web to reality. With the administrator now fully MVC, the ability to control its look and the management of extensions is now complete.

How to remove this?

Many thanks!

Re Q2: in the back-end, go to Content > Article Manager.
You will get to see a list of all articles.

To only not show them on the frontpage but still keep them published online, do this:
Click on the column header 'Featured' (not the button at the top, but the column header) to sort the articles. Mark the checkbox of all articles with a blue dot with a white star in it and press the 'Featured' button.

To completely unpublish the articles, do this:
Mark the checkbox of all articles you wish to unpublish and press the 'Unpublish' button.

Re Q1: if you use the default installation you should be able to see a Home menu item. :-S are you trying to get the breadcrumbs adjusted, or do you need a second Home menu item somewhere, or is it something else you wish to do? (sorry, but it's kind of difficult for me to visualise based on the information you provided)

Re. Q1
I am trying to insert in the menu on the left a "home", which I should be able to do. But I that when it shows

You are here: Home

it should be the same page when you click on "home" in the menu.

cheers,
Naveen
