Hello guys.

Look, I have edited the Beez 5 template in Joomla! 2.5, did some changes in css, put in there some modules... Now I want to use in others sites this template with all stuff (css,modules...), less the articles. How can I do this?

Install Akeeba Backup (I really love this tool) > Create a Backup of your site > Install it using kickstart (akeeba tool) in a fresh directory > You've got a new site with all your data and now you can just knock off what you don't want.

Note: Be sure to use a fresh DB and User for this new installation.

Thank's guys.

mick_3d, I'll use this more late when I duplicate my site if give a css bug.

vidurb, I follow this steps but I don't know how upload the backup file in the fresh site... I create a new database and go to the Akeeba's page, in there I put the name of host, user, password, etc, but when I give a next, appears the following AJAX error: timeout(undefined).

Somebody can help me?

First get the backup file out from Admin>Comp>Com_Akeeba>Backup and place it in a fresh folder. Also have kickstart.php here

Follow the kickstart wizard

It will unzip the file and ask you for the DB credentials automatically.

If you are doing this on localhost, then the host will be localhost, then put in the db name (newly created) and username and password (be sure that this user has full rights on the newly created db)
It'll then establish the connection and fill up the new db. Once done, it will show you the post-installation wizard and clean up the installation directories.. and you have an exact copy of the site ready!

Akeeba also has a quickstart guide and a detailed one. If this is the first time (which it is, I'm assuming) pls be sure to go through the documentation.
