:pop hi all, I am looking for template suitable for an online directory for a niche market. Can some reccomend a theme, what it the best place to find one. need space for paid ads. Preferebly with a directory extension.

Any template will do this, and you can customize a module for a paid ads and by using a custom email form you take the details but that requires manually adding articles, thats the cheapest way. There's more likely dozens of directory extensions but none as far as I know come pre styled to match that of the chosen content, you will need to manually style it to that of your template chosen.

It's worth noting that there is many Directories CMS solely built for this purpose, but you maybe already know that and want something for Joomla. Personally I'd look for a template built on Bootstrap or Zurb Foundation which are responsive, but then you might find that the extension you choose is not, and will require some STYLING additions.
