We're considering this video for the Joomla.org homepage:

We're getting close to a final draft so please post your thoughts.

Love the video! Is fantastic.

One thing, and it may already be noted, is the last bit prompting viewers to 'go to joomla.org to get started' .. if it's on the home page, we won't need that part.

edit: oops, sorry .. missed the part about suggestions in google doc ... headed there now :)

Yes, we could make a "frontpage only" version but I think there is value of having it with the www.joomla.org in the end even on the frontpage. This will most probably be a Youtube. Which makes it very simple to share ad distribute everywhere so even if its on the frontpage on joomla.org it will probably end up in hundres of other places where the www.joomla.org would be very good to end with.

It is a "promo" kind of thing and I think all visitors and views understand that the ending is what it is because of the share and reuse cause.

We need more perspectives on this...
