As a somewhat odd spin off but a very public face of joomla off property,
Why is nothing being done about the reported spammers, or even a new member moderation.
There are several members actually leaving due to it. that goes way beyond the 2just ignore it" attitude.
What has happened to the linkedin group owners/managers?

Which LinkedIn groups are you talking about?

I am "manager" at two LinkedIn groups and try to moderate (remove spam/spammers & add new members) about once a month:

once a month is unfortunately inadequate for the turn around at those groups. even PJO bans abt 15 a week
