Joomla! Demo site - Sign up failure

Hello to everyone. I am a newbie with Joomla!

I intend on building my own website but I have a problem at the very first step. When trying to sign up to use the demo site (https://demo.joomla.org/) I enter a sample site name, my real email address and a new password that conforms to the character requirements. However, an error is returned when I hit the 'Launch' button.

The error is:
Invalid subdomain: only alphanumerical Latin lowercase characters and dash allowed, must start with a letter.

The error dialog shows part of my entered information in red text, which I assume is the subdomain? The text is just a 10 letter word and the pop up indicates a green dot so it is correct.

I have changed the the word many times but it still gives an error. How do I change the 'subdomain' to be acceptable?

I am using a Chrome browser.
I apologise for this super-basic problem but I am stuck.

Problem solved! My mistake. In misreading the error I incorrectly changed what was already correct. Told you I was a newbie....
