Incorrect auto moderation forum

Post by leolam » Fri Jun 24, 2016 3:56 pm

I cannot post on the respective forum properly so post here directly.

http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 1#p3408862

I have posted the following sentence :
Remember Joomla is a community-driven project by volunteers and you are one of them as I am....
and that is shown as 'moderated' [drive] Sorry but I do not understand that moderation? What is wrong with "community-driven" ?

So to make clear here as well since it is here blocked as well..... the [drive] stands for "c o m m u n i t y d r i v e n " what on earth is wrong with that?

This particular word is blacklisted - noticed this many times already. Maybe for security reasons - I'm not exactly sure. I am curious too on why it is blacklisted.

It's definitely annoying, especially when you start talking about the database API and something like a class name of JDatabase D r i v e r Mysqli gets replaced.

I agree with the other comments posted here. There have been a couple of times when I've wanted to use the word d-r-i-ve (as a verb, e.g. "to d***e a car") or d-r-i-v-e-r (as a noun, e.g. software that interfaces with the operating system kernel) quite deliberately and innocently and I've been forced to re-edit my messages in order to accommodate my intention.

Yes, Joomla is a project "steered/manoeuvred/navigated/run/contributed-towards/managed/encouraged" by volunteers. It would be nice to be able to say it's "dríven" by them, wouldn't it?

All right y'all... I've removed it from the work censor list. I'm not certain why it was added. I did not find any a commentary on it, although I did see a string of different spammers that were using something being caught by the "Word Censoring" mod back in 2010. Regardless, it's no longer on the list.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
