Hi i see a message that states if you post a link that isnt to a joomla site it is an offense, is this only in posts or does the website url i have in my profile have to be to a Joomla site aswell (talking about my forumn profile)

The Forum Rules are clear about what can and cannot be included in signatures. The type of CMS is not restricted, as long as none of the signature rules are breached.
