Permanently banned notice

Permanently banned notice

Hi, When trying to access the forum today I received the following message:

You have been permanently banned from this board.

Please contact the Board Administrator for more information.

Reason given for ban: Found in the Stop Forum Spam database

A ban has been issued on your IP address.


However when I check with StopForumSpam website I see the following:

Your public IP address 2a02:c7c:2f83:7000:10ac:68e4:9c85:ae6b is not in our database

I ignored it and was able to access the forum

Anything I should know?

Mod note: Merged with identical topic mentioning another IP6 address and moved to Sites & Infrastructure.

I checked your account and there are no warnings or bans. It's probably an issue with the external StopForumSpam service that we use.

For what its worth, I occasionally see "You have been permanently banned from this board." I just ignore it and login as usual.
