Mod note: moved to correct forum.

The main Developer forum is locked, you will need to post in one of the subforums.

Please be patient, we all are volunteers here, and are not online 24/7

Is there a reason it is locked? I dont assume you are on 24/7 but to be ignored for over a month doesnt suggest i'm impatient.

I help other members here as much I hope as I receive help from other members. Locking this forum though drives developers away, this is the part that needs to flourish. Thats why nuke is so popular.

Why is it locked?

kind regards

mojito

I am online almost 24/7 ;)

Ignored for a month? You posted this thread less than 24 hrs ago.. I replied 4 hr 14 mins after you first posted it.

Why is the main developer forum locked?
Because development is divided up according to product versions. So.. 1.0.x is one forum: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/board,127.0.html and 1.1: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/board,231.0.html

I am not familiar with this driving any developers away, in fact the order often attracts developers and users who are able to clearly distinguish the versions that they are discussing.

Let me know if you require any further help. FWIW I have not received any PM's on this matter, and no reports have been made to any moderators (using the report to moderator link) as I receive a copy of each one.

I pM'd since a month 2 separate moderators on this board troozers and i cant remember. You like them must have missed it.
no replies to anything.
i see why the dev forum may be divided but this is not a reson for locking something? unless you are saying there is no further support for a version?

hi mojito,

It's always possible that something might have been missed in terms of a PM to a moderator, if you ever need assistance with something broken, you are welcome to click the report to moderator link. The joomla versions are supported as mentioned in the above links, the closing of the main forum allows those to post in the correct forum determined by the joomla release. It's more or less done this way to organize the forums. Brad would have more information on the forum structure and how it's set up to organize each joomla release.

Just know however that if someone missed your PM or support questions, it certainly wasn't intentional. We are continually working to provide better support as the Joomla! community continues to grow.
