I got this error and cant do it. Maybe others have same problem. I have had this to other

I also got this error when trying to post a comment so its not just on that page I know there have been at least 3-4 other of those blog pages that have this problem!

Can you share how it was resolved? I'm getting similar error messages on my site.

I honestly cannot remember what the issue was.. last week was hard to remember, last year.. who knows what happened then.

Maybe a documentation web solution for followed up issues like this with a Questions/Answers would be a great idea?

I don't think there is any need for us to document issues with 3rd party components (in this case, the comments component) that end up being resolved by the component developer by an update.

My issue doesn't have anything to do with the comments component, it's a joomla-site-wide issue - it is just the same error message.

It can't be the same error, as the one this thread was about related to a commenting component. I'd do some troubleshooting to determine if it's a component causing the issue, or a serverside setting (check with your host).

I guess this is still an issue in Joomla 1.6.6 like it is for me so its very relevant and have nothing to do with 3pds extensions I guess too..

Have this problem with a "clean" J 1.6.6 also.

I have the same issue (site-wide) on all of my 1.6.x sites ... which I'll be upgrading gradually to 1.7. I wonder whether we'll be seeing it happen on 1.7?

HI. I got the same error message when I tried to logout from back-end on an Joomla 1.7 based website. I use AdminPraise Lite template for admin section. I know it's not 1.7 but 1.6 designer/programmed. Could this be the problem ?

I am also having this problem. It looks from other posts as if this should have been fixed, even back as far as 2010. I'm wondering why the patch has not been incorporated into a Joomla update.

I am also have a preferences Save and Close problem in Safari.

I have just started working in my first 1.7 site.

This thread is about an issue with joomla.org that is very old, and well and truly resolved. If you are having an issue with your own site, please open a thread in the correct forum.
