Old username: theLoneDeranger
New username: the Lone Deranger

Hi Brad, the old/current username is without any spaces. The new desired username is the same but with a space between the and Lone and a space between Lone and Deranger.

I was unaware that I could use spaces until I saw others' nicks. My bad. It's probably mentioned somewhere during registration but naturally I just clicked away. Sorry bout that

No, I understand that, however in another post you said you used to be a member of this forum in the past with another username. That is the one I am interested in merging.

You do not need to merge it with the old account. Let's just say I've been away too long and I'm not even sure if I still have access to the email account I used years back. As far as I'm concerned I'll "rebuild my credit" (if any ) ... Nevertheless. Thanks.

We don't allow duplicate accounts, according to the forum rules you have agreed to twice Hence I'm trying to sort this out so your membership is all above board and then change your requested username.

Okay. Though I should have known I was unaware of this. The old user account is Dylan1968 or Dylan68 (not sure). But it's probably registered with an email account I currently have no access to (-). I don't know if that's a problem?

Ok, seeing as that account has the most posts, how about we change Dylan1968 to the username you want and then merge this new accounts posts with the old one once you have access.

If you email me, I can reset your password etc for you too. Ok?

I am the new owner of the domain name joomify.com and I'd like my username changed to joomify.

That username was previously registered by a fake joomla developer and he only made 2 irrelevant posts.

I tried logging in this forum after quite some time, with my username 'san', but it did not work anymore (wrong password). When I tried the 'I forgot my password' link, I got the message that the username/email combination was not found. I probably used a different e-mail address when I registered a long time ago, but all e-mail addresses I tried now gave the same username/email combination not found error.

To get in the forum, I re-registered with a new username ('heartcoded').

Could someone merge the two accounts I might now have for me? One has username 'heartcoded', the other has username 'san'. I don't mind which username I use in the end, whichever is easiest when merging. Probably 'san' is better, because I made a few posts with that username. After merging, would I be able to login as 'san' again?

You should also submit a request to ICANN for changing your domain name.

I apologise if this is the wrong place, but I couldn't find anywhere more suited to this question/request.

I'd like to change my username but can't do so via my User Control Panel (which is understandable). I'd like to know if changing it is permitted, and if so, whom do I contact to make the request.
