Why "edit signature" in user control panel missing

This is your first post...you need more posts to get the possibility to get a signature.

p4p (posting for points) to inflate your count just so you can add a signature may and is considered spamming.

Signatures:
Must be setup in your Profile (user Control Panel) , and not manually added to your messages.
May NOT contain any images.
May not contain any pricing, sales, product etc. details.
May contain a maximum of two smilies. Or one animated smiley.
May include two clickable links. URL's or mailto: - No duplicate links
Only exact URLs allowed ie not LOOK HERE - No tiny url, affiliate links etc either, only exact, literal URLs
May include two colors. Hyperlink color is set by the forum and is not counted as a color.
Maximum font size cannot be larger than normal.
Must be kept to a maximum of four lines (at 1024 resolution).
May not contain links to other threads or posts for the purpose of self promotion
Your signature is your signature. It is not for sale or rent.
Any signature or avatar that is offensive or insulting to either us, our members, or our staff, are prohibited.
We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason.

i have been looking for more than half an hour for information on how to edit my signature until i found this post using search option, i was thinking i was an idiot not to be able to find that. thanks!

cause the post number was raised from 10 to 25

The rules are not yet changed according to what you said.
Are you sure that the number of posts has been raised to 25?

Yes, I am very sure. At this moment you have to post 25 messages before you can set a forum signature.

the only idiots are people who think they can rush one liners or make such broad nonsense posts to get signature rights to link their wordpress ecommerce sites without moderators noticing ithin days of joining. they are the people who normally get banned
