Cannot login to showcase

Cannot login to showcase

When I try to login to the Joomla showcase, I get a message that says "You are a spammer, hacker or an otherwise bad person.". None of which is either true nor polite, I have been a loyal Joomla supporter for many years. Could my community site account be reset, please?

Why do the various Joomla sites have separate logins anyway, it seems a very dated way of managing user relationships.
