Hi All,

My name is Dan Riefstahl and I own and run Pixel Point Creative. We create and sell Joomla extensions and templates. Recently I was alerted to a site that sells all of our products and products of most other well know Joomla development companies like Gavick, Joomla XTC, Rockettheme, Shape 5 etc.

Does anyone know how we as a group or individuals stop sites like this from redistributing our products? It is illegal and unethical to steal from hard working developers like us. We need to spread the word about this and get others involved.

Report the website to Google: https://support.google.com/sites/answer/116262?hl=en . I am inclined to think by the way (and I hope I'm wrong) that the subscribers know that they are getting bootlegged copies of the software. The "SING UP" instead of "SIGN UP" should be a clear sign to stay away.

My opinion is to just ignore this whole thing - it's not worth it and I don't think anyone really wants these customers.

There are many websites that distribute this type of ILLIGUL content like

Please report those sites at https://tm.joomla.org/contact/submit-ticket

And avoid any illegal downloads. They might contain malware and getting your hacked site clean again will cost you more (time and reputation) than buying the legal software from original source.
Besides, buying the software from the original source will support the future development of the product.
