At a guess I would assume that the image being displayed on the web site is not the original but it has been converted by the iproperty component you are using?

Hi Brian,
I did not work on the development of the website.
How can I manage the iproperty convertion, with a plugin? If so can you please explain me what to do to improve this issue?
Thanks for your help!
Adrien

You would need to speak to the makers of the iproperty extension

Could be an issue with the color management system available in the browser used
versus the color management system available in the image viewer used.
If they do not have the same capabilities the image may look different.

Could be the image online has been modified (resized, etc.) and the color profile information lost or modified.
Download the online image and compare the embedded color profile versus the original image.

See what the downloaded image looks like in the image viewer.
If it looks different and the embedded color profile is different then the online image processing is the issue.

Hi Ken, thank you for your comment. The color profile might be the issue...
I'll check it out and let you know for your information.

:D

Most servers have the GD library installed and use that for image processing.
The GD Library does not preserve the color profile information.
So when your image was processed/resized on the server the color profile info was lost.

Some servers have ImageMagick installed which is far more capable and it does support color profiles.
So if your server has ImageMagick, and the application supports using ImageMagick,
you could have better images.
But this is unlikely.

If the application supports not processing images which are already the correct size,
you could upload correctly sized images and avoid the destruction of the color profile info.
