Enable HTTPS on proxy

Hello,
I'm using joomla 3 and i want to enable https protocol but for a security reason my hosting provider use an https proxy for the https url so the https and http uri are different.

Is possible to write a plugin or hooking joomla's core code to enable https on my host?

Example HTTP URL: http://mydomain.tld
Example HTTPS URL: https://mydomain.hostprovide.tld

Well, you should move to another hosting provider. They look like not expert in hosting so that they can't take care this situation. http and https should take the same uri for SEO reason

Ok. But for this website i'm not interested to SEO.
It's possibile to edit joomla's core or write a plugin for this scope?
