Category ordering is not working

I am trying to change the ordering for my articles in a category and it's not working. Please help.

Hi,
what do you tried until now? There are some possibilities to change the ordering of the articles: on the global options of articles and also on the options in each menu item.
Provide us with some screenshots and a little bit more information.

Ok, and what is the problem? Which ordering do you want? And how is the ordering now?

Right now it is random (According to the order in which I created the articles) I would like to totally re-order

What did you select in the menu item? Blog layout from a category or featured articles?

You have selected "Featured Articles" Ordering. That mean that the articles marked featured will be shown first, then the non featured articles.

Per Yngve Berg, that is not correct. With a menu item "Featured articles" you will get showed only the featured articles and you have to sort them as you want.

Not on a Category Blog type Menu Item. We have know what type of Menu item is used.

Thanks, once I removed the featured articles order, it worked.
