HTML5 in Joomla

Post by webcent2014 » Tue Jul 07, 2015 3:06 pm

How important is it to use HTML5 in Joomla websites?

I'm not new to Joomla! But I see more information about HTML5 and even some clients asking about it now.

In searching for information, I find it difficult get a straight answer on if I NEED to have HTML5 installed on my sites or even if there is a component I can install to help me get there.

How can I test to see if any part of my website is HTML5 compliant?

I have read most components used in Joomla! 3 + have this built in already. Do I have to use it in articles, sections, modules etc? If so, what is the best method? As you can see by my rambling, I'm a little confused on how to move forward?

Thanks for any help.
