Catalogue Conflict with drop down Menu

Hi please assist. i have a catalog (installed) linked to drop down menus on my site under products but the problem is that i cant select the dropdown menu once i have selected the page with the catalog (huge-it) catalogue. this is the second catalog i have installed with the hope that i will strike it lucky but im still faced with the issue. one has to click back to use the menus. if all catalogs are de activated i recover the drop down menus.
