How to fix [Unable to connect with TLS encryption] by filling Fox Contact Form?

Hi,

When I fill the form by creating Fox Contact Form, it shows the error message on website: Unable to connect with TLS encryption. I have checked by SSL/TLS status, it is work. How do I fix the problem ?

Joomla Version:3.8.6

That version is outdated. It was released in March 2018 and there have been a lot of new versions after that.

When running into problems with software, the best thing is to create a backup (files+database, e.g. using Akeeba Backup) and then update all software (Joomla and extensions) to the latest versions. The latest version in the Joomla 3 series is 3.10.12.

If your issue was caused by some bug in outdated Joomla or a 3rd party extension, then it might have been solved by any of the newer versions.
