Migration to Joomla 5

Post by svavakim » Tue Mar 19, 2024 7:47 pm

Hi there,

I still haven't migrated my website with Joomla 3.10 to Joomla 4.
Is it possible to migrate directly to Joomla 5 ?

And someone that is able to do the migration in my behalf available to send me a quote for this work?

Many thanks for you replies in advance.

Best wishes,
Svava

You need to migrate to Joomla 4 first and then you can migrate to Joomla 5.

If you want someone to do this for you, see https://community.joomla.org/service-pr ... rades.html for a list of migration services.

thank you AMurray. However according to the self-assessment, it will be extremely time consuming or impossible to do it myself... https://docs.joomla.org/Migration_Step_ ... Assessment

Depening of site structure sometimes it is easier to start from scratch and build new website in Joomla 5. Can you post the link of the website?

That is such a simple site I would be surprised if it didn't migrate to J4 and then J5 seamlessly .
