Intro text shows in Homepage but not in the article itself

Intro text shows in Homepage but not in the article itself

Hi.
I just noticed that intro texts of 2 recently published articles (we are not using plugins for articles, we are using the Joomla one) are shown in the homepage but when I clicked read more, the intro texts don't appear on the article itself.
I checked the Global config and it is configured as "Show" and in the article configuration, it is also set to follow global config setting.
Then I created a dummy article. The intro text appeared in the homepage and in the article itself, meaning it is working except for the 2 articles.
Help.

P.s.
Currently our website is J3.10, we haven't upgraded yet.

Update: I changed the configuration in the article itself, instead of global setting (show) to "Show" and it worked. But this should not be the case.

Check the Options in the Menu Item.
