[Mod note: Moved from 3.0 Upgrade Forum to 3.0 Template Forum;]

TBH at the moment I very much doubt there is too much available.

The following page on the Documentation Wiki Converting a template for Joomla 3 may be of assistance.

As will this thread Core classes for Joomla 3.0

Many 2.5 Templates will work on J3 ... the use of the bootsrap code adds functionality but does not need to be used. Also there is nothing to prevent a custom Template from interoperating it's own bootstrap css. http://www.[youtube].com/watch?v=BVFQc0iGFwU and http://www.[youtube].com/watch?NR=1&featu ... gwtRpf60xI explain how bootstrap works. Basically AFAIK it is just preconfigured css and Javascript that you link to from divs etc. Just like you normally would except that the css is already predefined and you don't need to write it.

Some Templates with Template overrides may need some adjustment if they do not rely on the custom Template's css.

Mootools has been updated so Templates with deprecated code will need that edited.

Other than that there is little difference. The index.php file has the normal element tags(<div>, <p> etc.).
