link items show up in two modules at the same time

Hello, I'm learning Joomla 3 with the protostar template. When I create ink items (articles) in a module pos. -7 they show up also in the nav bar position -1 (this include also the Home link.
How to avoid that? Thanks

Content always shows in the context of a menu item. The Home item is chosen when there are no apropriate menu items for your content. Create them if you don't want the Home context.

EDIT: Looks like I misunderstood:
There can be multiple modules to display the menu. On the menu manager you can see which modules are used to present the menu in your template. You must have multiple modules active.

Sorry but what I meant is: in the homepage in a module pos. -7, I created 3 menu items (related to 3 different articles) but these 3 menu items show also in the navigation bar pos. -1
