I am getting this error message on my recently upgraded site. It's a simple menu link to a single article: http://demo.ear-trumpet.net/mmp_upgrade ... en/contact

I've tried setting all public permission to 'allowed' but no dice. I've also enabled/disabled SEF urls but there's no difference. Cleared cache. Changed global config article/category permission settings to 'allowed'.

Process:

1. New category
2. new article in that category
3. set menu to 'single article'
4. get this error.

Any ideas why? I've been using Joomla for a few years but never had a permission issue like this.

- extension manager/ tab database/ click Fix button
- check the link of that menu in backend.... do you set permission for it?
- set error_reporting to NONE in joomla configuration

Fixed the database.
Have gone to 'menu' menu and checked, you can't set permissions here?
Set to none.

Still the same.

please help! feel like it's probably really simple but I can't think of anything.

I have created new categories/articles on this new site and linked via menu and it's been fine. For some reason the two new ones today don't work?
