Migrating from 2.5.22 to 3.5.x
I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to migrate my 2.5.22 Joomla site to 3.5.
The site upgrader wasn't working, and I ended up moving from 2.5.18->2.5.22 by installing the zip package as if it were a plugin through the upload process.
Now I'm trying to move to 3.5. I started of by setting the updater to short term support per instructions I've read around the place in the hope it would pick up 3.5 as an applicable upgrade. It doesn't.
I've tried clearing cache etc to no avail.
Any suggestions?

Disable the Remember Me Plugin before upgrade. Otherwise you may end up with a non working site.

I understand that the output of Joomla 3.5 is postponed?
And now we need to install version 3.3.1, it will operate for a long time?

Re: Migrating from 2.5.22 to 3.5.x
On my site I just get a message Joomla! is up to date - 2.5.22. Disabling the plug in (as above) doesn't make any difference. Is there another way to run an upgrade/migration?
(I'm assuming that since there seems to be a built in option to upgrade to 3.3 that I don't need a third party migration add on?)
Thanks.

The updater must be configured for STS for J!3.3 to appear. Otherwise it will stay on 2.5

The Joomla updater is set to Short Term Support, and has been for ages, if not always, but still shows as up to date with latest 2.5 version. Doesn't offer v. 3.x

I have a great article I found on upgrading but I can't seem to post URL. If you want it just send me a message. I'll send you the URL that I can't post on here. The best upgrade procedure I've found from Joomla 1.x/2.x to j3.3.3.
