can't log in as administrator

I resolved the issue.

I cannot log in as administrator - I get this message:

Warning Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

When I installed joomla - I used the domain name but did not put the .org extension on the end of the name. Could that be the issue?

I am sure that I am using the right username and password

Have you already installed your site? For example when you type something like:

http://www.your-domain.org

what do you get?

If it is already installed then you could use Joomla's official document to change your super-user password. The document is at this link:

If you can't make this work for you and if you have not done anything on the site yet then the best thing is to delete is completely including the database and start again. If you have already done some work then DON'T DO THIS.
