No configuration file found...

Post by gerben69 » Mon Nov 12, 2012 7:11 pm

hi all,

I'm installing joomla 3.0.1 on Linux Red Hat ( installing it on my local host )

I got to the page where I had to manually remove the installation folder

but there was a section below that message that I had to make a configuration.php file and the code I had to use was below that message but i accidentaly removed the installation folder first and now I can't access the home page page anymore.

i have this error

No configuration file found and no installation code available. Exiting...

can someone provide me of the code I have to use to make a configuration.php file

You'll be able to find a copy of this file in the download of Joomla. Download the zip file again, extract, and then adjust the details in the configuration.php file
