Database row size too big when restoring

Post by SForsgren » Thu Dec 29, 2022 9:33 pm

When I create a backup and restore with Kickstart to create a test environment, I get a message like this:

The biggest database row of your database is 4.57 Mb. However, your database server is likely to be configured to only accept up to 1.00 Mb (we cannot check that without connecting to the database server). If you proceed with the database restoration you will most likely receive a database error code 1153; or an error message 'ER_NET_PACKET_TOO_LARGE'; or an error message 'Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes'. If this happens please ask your host to set the value of the max_allowed_packet configuration variable of your database server to at least 5 Mb.

Over time the "row" continues to grow.

How can I find out more details on what this row is? Thanks!

Joomla 3.10.11 and working on upgrade to 4.2.5.
