Too many redirects

Hi

I need to install a joomla site that is running on Joomla 3.9.6 and then upgrade

now... I have tried to install, but due to the fact that my setup is running php 8.2 I have to install 3.10.x, but that gives me too many redirects error as soon as I try to install.

my setup is:
MBP m1 Max, Laravel Valet to server sites, php 8.2

any hints or suggestions to upgrade in another way is highly appreciated

Welcome to Joomla forum!

Joomla 3.10.x only works on PHP 8.0, not on PHP 8.1 or PHP 8.2.

You'll need to upgrade to Joomla 4 before you can use PHP 8.1 or higher.
