:( no luck with JCE...
Tried this config which I've found on the forum, still strips out tags:
Components > JCE Editor > Editor Profiles > Default > Editor Parameters > Advanced and I've selected "Yes" for
Allow Javascript
Allow CSS
Allow PHP
XHTML Inline Scripts

How have you set such configuration?

I didn't make any changes to JCE configuration ... it was 'out of the box'.

I ran in to this problem after upgrading several sites to the lates joomla 3.0 script.
Using no editor.
all suggested solutions (groups, user-no filter) were made.
joomla or any editor (JoomlaCK, TinyMCE, No Editor) have the same problem of joomla-stripping any or all tags-html.

the solution for me was contacting my host provider and turning magic_quotes_gpc Off. despite having a php.ini file with them off it did not work for me. after clearing this problem. joomla stopped stripping my articles. :pop
