Preset backend filters

Hello,
is there a way to preset backend filters for items listing ?
For example it could be useful to preset the "status" filter to "published" for articles, menu items and modules ...
It seems it isn't available as simple configuration option, could it be obtained with an override ?

Just add for example "&filter_state=1" to your URL.
