Unable to upload images with JCE or Media Component

Recently upgraded from 3.6 to 3.6.2 but was unable to upload and
and view images in content with either version. The images load, but they show the
broken icon. All my existing image are visible and can be added to
content.

I am Unable to upload and view images with JCE or Media Component.

I can view the images when examining them via FTP.

PHP 7.0.9
Joomla 3.6.2
JCE 2.5.24

Any ideas on the problem?

If the images show broken this means in JCE you have the image path incorrect.https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/sup ... ctory-path

Thanks, I checked JCE parameters and they are set correctly to images

But the images are also broken when I try to upload them with Media component, but all
existing images can be viewed and loaded on JCE and Media component.

What is set for "Path to Images Folder" in content-->media manager-->options

I have seen this happening often and it is mostly related to the path where an additional forward slash "/" is added (so you get site.com//images/folder/image.jpg) and you have than 2 of these and therefore the image breaks. Can you provide a link so I can see the code
