Mail failing after site upgrade to Joomla 3.3

Hi, ever since some of my sites are updated to Joomla 3.3, no contact forms are working anymore.

I wrote a php script to verify phpmail does work and checked mass mail was working afterwards.

I now tried 5 different forms, none of them is working.

It all started with the upgrade from Joomla 3.0 to 3.1, first rapid contact form was failing so I replaced it with a working form, now nothing works anymore.

What's changed???
And more important, how do I fix?
(my configuration doesn't allow me to use SMTP)

Hi,

Just try in global configuration Send mail set to NO - save and again sett is for Yes and save it.
Anyways if mass mail works, it mean php mailing works well and problem is with your extenions for contacts, not Joomla.

Unfortunately a lot gets broken in Joomla after updating the last 2 times...

Thank you for the solution to press "NO + save + YES + save" to reactivate email sending with Php Mailer.
I've been searching for a whole week a way to send à simple email with Joomla contact form.
It´s working fine for me too now in Joomla 3.3.3. :laugh:
