Images are not displayed in intro text

sysinfo:
Joomla! 3.0.2 Stable [ Ember ] 08-November-2012 14:00 GMT
Joomla Platform 12.2.0 Stable [ Neil Armstrong ] 21-September-2012 00:00 GMT
php 5.3.13
SEF urls with url rewriting used

How to reproduce:
1.Add a new article
2.Add an image to an article with "image" button below
3.Add article to category
4.Save an article

Expected result:
Image displayed in article text in category view (http://my.site/category)
Image displayed in article text on article page (http://my.site/category/20-my-article)

Actual result:
No images are displayed and no "<img>" tag can be found in page source

And some people seems to have the same bug since J!1.5 (????) see this thread viewtopic.php?f=428&t=632948

This works perfectly - its a fundamental feature

When you add the image does it appear in the wysiwyg editor

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Yes i see it in wysywig. But i don see em in frontend.
and if i add this article to menu - images appears. But i don't need it in menu, and this is extra work - to add all articles to menu manually after creation

Are you using a default template?
What extensions have you installed?

Problem solved.

It was caused by mod_newsfeed configuration.

Solution:
Extension->Module Manager->Article Module - Newsfeed (or what ever it is named) -> Basic Options tab
Switch "Show Images" to "yes"
