Updates Load Really Slow

When I make changes to my site through my Joomla administrator they don't show up on the site until almost an hour after I save them. How do I speed this up? Please help. The site is dynamogymclub.ca if that helps. And I am relatively new to Joomla.

In you configuration settings, make sure that you disable caching completely (the caching time is probably set to 60 minutes). You can do that by going to System, Global Configuration, System and setting the Cache to "Off - Caching Disabled".

I'm having similar issues. When I make changes, I don't see them on the site for sometime. I am new to Joomla, so trying to figure this all out is difficult when I can't see what the changes I have made look like. I disabled the cache as suggested above, still have same issue. Thanks

Have you cleared the cache, meaning temporary internet files, from the browser? That is often required, too.

Some templates have there own caching system which also caches JavaScript files.

There are some shared hosting environments that have their own caching as well, so even if you delete all the cache, changes will not appear immediately. Usually hosting companies do that to save on resources.

Thanks guys, clearing the cache worked. Now if I can figure out how to display these contacts for different categories on the page.
