Article not showing on frontpage and not in db

Hi guys,

I've got a strange problem with my site (Joomla 3.6.0, mysql 5.6.31, php 5.6.18)

When I create a new featured article it will not show up on my frontpage.
Homepage is set to "Article-featured" and has always be working fine.

The article does show up in the module "Latest articles" which is on the frontpage.

When I checked my db in phpadmin, the latest article is not showing in my db, but it is showing in content-featured....

I've attached several images to make it more clear.

Suggestions anyone??

There are known bugs in 3.6.0.

You can manually reorder featured from the bottom to the top.

Module has a bug and can not display articles in featured ordering.
For temporary you can change order by publish date.

In J3.6.1 the module will work again.

but the module is working fine, the featured articles are not showing on the frontpage.

The module is at the right bottom and showing different articles from the homepage

The module is called "club nieuws" and it is showing articles from all cats.
The first 2 articles in the module are both set to be featured, but don't show on the home page.....

Okay I found it, I have to go to Content - Featured articles, change view to "Ordering Ascending", locate my articles and drag them manually to the top......

THANK YOU vmwebsites! That worked.

And while it's a great temporary fix...what prompted the programmers to completely change the joomla system, so the most recent article would not be published on a person's front page? That's like slashing your wrists in terms of SEO. And who knew? I didn't find out for over a week that my articles were being posted on the 12th page of my site...wth?

Anyone know when that bug will be fixed?

And again - thank you vmwebsites...you're the only one who came up with a great fix, after I searched the web for 2 days!
