import.legacy.php on line 42

Post by combatforce » Tue Apr 26, 2016 1:38 pm

Dear friends,

Last morning I woke up to see that my joomla site, as well as backend are down, with following warning:

Warning: require_once(/home/tumerilgar.com/httpdocs/libraries/platform.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/tumerilgar.com/httpdocs/libraries/import.legacy.php on line 42

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/tumerilgar.com/httpdocs/libraries/platform.php' (include_path='.') in /home/tumerilgar.com/httpdocs/libraries/import.legacy.php on line 42

I did not install any extensions, or make any change in the backend. This occured all of a sudden. I am afraid, I can't find any site backup. Is there any way to recover my website : http://www.tumerilgar.com ? Please help !

Thank you.

The file libraries/platform.php has got corrupted or it has been deleted. Sometimes that can happen as a result of server issues.

You can get a copy of the file from the installation archive of your version of Joomla, presumably 3.5.1 if you have kept the site uptodate.

Copy the file to the server and see what happens. If more files are missing, copy all the files except the installation folder to the server.
