CPU usage from 88% to 99% with Builder

Post by 2mino » Sun Aug 28, 2022 6:09 pm

when i open the home page my cpu usage goes up to 88%. when I open builder it goes to 99%. is that normal??
OK, so let's trust that your bumped the memory to 512MB correctly. It is possible that we are not looking at the correct error message. (and it is also a little bit odd, that the error message does not mention "error 500").

Are there different error messages in the log?

That does not sound right. Are the web server and database server applications installed and running in a remote server or locally in your workstation?

Please post the results from the Forum Post Assistant (FPA) by following the instructions at https://forumpostassistant.github.io/docs/ so that our volunteer experts can review the configuration.

hi toivo! yes.
Hi, I have been getting 500 internal server errors when using builder since updating (now twice) this morning. Joomla 3.9.2.
they appear when i try to add content to the grid. or when I add content to the grid. This is happening when I add html to the code source box.

so i open a gallery content item, find the content field, click to the code tab. add an html tag like "<h3>" and bam... internal server error.

Edit: in the gallery I cannot add any content without triggering the error. even plain text.

yes.
Which one is it, remote or localhost?

Set the level of error reporting in the Global Configuration to 'Maximum' and enable debugging so that the error messages show where in Joomla or third party extensions the errors originate from.

If you are serious about finding the root cause of these problems, please post the FPA results.
