Not able to start Joomla

Hello,

I upgraded to Joomla 3.6 successfully.
But now I am getting the following error in browser

Code: Select all

 url http://server/joomla/index.php/author-login
 
Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: Could not connect to MySQL.

I changed the correct value for the password parameter in file configuration.php and the problem is solved,

The parameters changed are

public $user =
public $password =
