Upgrading from 3.5.1 to 3.6.0 Results in Fatal Error

Hi. When i tired to update a joomla website from 3.5.1 to 3.6.0 i got this message

" Fatal error: Class 'JFactory' not found in /home/g564295/public_html/sitename.com/index.php
on line 46 "

Anyone know what causes this? It happened on another website also.
