Not understanding How you can check with the Host if you are the Host ? Do you mean that your Host has told you that you are responsible for server settings ?

What type of Hosting package do you have ?

I have Similar problem but in the reverse order. i.e. emails from contact form are being sent all ok. But when a new user registers, no email. Its a good thing that users are being created and saved but it will be nice to recieve emails upon someone registerign to the website. Any help will be useful. thanks.

I've tried all your suggested solutions but none of it worked..

really need to get this working :( any ideas??
