Multilangual
I noticed a problem when Google indexed my multilingual site : Dutch, French and English(not yet finished!).
Dutch is the main language and the search results on Google's Dutch search pages are fine (first page) , but i cannot get the results listed for my french homepage
I just checked the tutorial for multilingual sites and it mentions:
Q:Is there a specific menu containing a Default Home Page menu item to which is assigned language "All" and its menu module unpublished?
A:There is a Default Home Page menu but it cannot be unpublished (Joomla 3.4.1)
Error
Can't unpublish default home.
Webmasters tools (International targeting) also gives me errors
Error fr-FR no return tags
my website: http://www.foodstyling.be
Thanks in advance for an answer

Re: Multilangual
You need to add new site inside google
If your site is - domain.com which is dutch is the main language
Add new site
domain.com/french/
And more suggestion about google:
If the site you added in google is http://domain.com you need to create another one http://www.domain.com
or http://domain.com/french and another one http://www.domain.com/french
If your site is - domain.com which is dutch is the main language

Re: Multilangual
It's not Google the problem.
The real problem is:
Webmasters tools (International targeting) also gives me errors
Error fr-FR no return tags
Thanks for your suggestion

Re: Multilangual
Yes the google webmaster tool, you also need to "add new site" each of your site's languages as we also did, and google indexed other languages in our site.
But if you did it already good, anyway the default menu homepage which is the language is set to "All" must not be remove, our website is the same and it is nothing got to do about why Google do not indexed your french version but as i said earlier you need to create new site inside Google webmaster tool which is example yourdomain.com/fr for french to be indexed by google.

Re: Multilangual
Did you follow the Language Switcher Tutorial?
https://docs.joomla.org/Language_Switcher_Tutorial
The Main menu with the Default Menu item will not be used (unpublish menu module)
There is one default menu item for each language (marked with a flag in menu manager).

Re: Multilangual
It is the menu module for the mainmenu set to ALL languages that you should NOT publish, not the home menu item in that menu itself as it is normal that it should be unpublishable.
As advised above, you have to create in webmastertools new sites with the URL Language Code appended to the basic domain to get these crawled.
mydomain.com/en/
maydomain.com/fr/
etc.

Re: Multilangual
Thanks for the answer.
The menu module for the main menu is disabled, and as far I can see the pages in different languages are crawled and indexed by the search engines.
The only problem is the listing on Google, with my dutch language page on a french language search page.
